Some people are so productive that one life is simply not enough. One of them is Zero Cash (Fabian Stall).
He was only sweet 14 when when he decided to dedicate his life to electronic music after his early and solid socialization with Slayer and Depeche Mode.
First productions were made at his fathers computer using oldschool tracker programs, before Fabian equipped his first official “kid's sound studio” with his first synths and drum computers.
In early 2000, he made his first records together with Air Liquide and Dr. Walker (for the label DJungle Fever) under the pseudonym Electro Atomu. And then, it all happened really fast: in 2001, Fabian Stall and Trztn aka Tristan Bechet (also known from the Services or for his releases on A Touch of Class), founded the Sauna Kings: a fun Noise duo, between grotesque Hip Hop and Post Industrial. Sauna King's debut album “Waiting for the Sun” was released in 2003 on Pinksockrecords NY.

In 2003, Fabian Stall realised a project in co-operation with FM Einheit (the ur-member of Einstürzende Neubauten) that could be admired live on stage at numerous festivals. Also in 2003 and after several maxi releases on DJungle Fever, Fabian released his album “4 Cubes in One Room” as Electro Atomu on Farbe 1.
The first Zero Cash release “Low Service EP” came out in 2004 on the legendary label Monotone: a hard-to-define mixture of beat structures originating from Hip Hop and tons of electronic noise. His Sauna King's colleague would describe it as follows: “The 'Low Service EP' is a merciless experience of futuristic sound for the post apocalypse.”.
In 2004 and still not tired, Zero Cash and Khan (Capatain Comatose) started producing Khans' album “Who Never Rests” which was finally released in 2007 on Tomlab.
Also in 2004, he met Cologne-based DJane Maral Salmassi. Together, they founded the Techno/Electroclash project Golden Days. They also produced several records and remixes for Maral's label Television. In 2006, Zero Cash founded the NoWave-TrashDisco-AssKick project A**ro Cologne together with Thomas Mahmoud (former singer of Von Spar) and Stefan Schmidt. For their first maxi release “Discolights / Excuse Me”, they spontaneously founded the label Hoochy Coochy Records.
In late 2006, after their final release “We deliver your demand” Golden Days stopped and Fabian Stall and Maral Salmassi founded the new label Television Rocks together • a common platform for their solo projects. In February 2007, Zero Cash launched this new label with his release “Satan Satellites” wich entered the charts of Dj’s like Erol Alkan, Boris Dlugosch or Malente. More releases and productions together with Maral Salmassi followed and are still to come.
When performing live, Zero Cash does not like to use his laptop. He'd rather sticks to his “real” machines and makes them thrill rhythmically - not to mention the people on the dance-floor.
And even if the straight bass drum has become the basis in the meantime • something between funky Techno and dirty Cut-Up-House • Zero Cash does not hesitate using boombastic chords, brute guitar riffs, vocal fragments or Hip Hop-Electro breaks.
